Proudly serving the western suburbs for over 40 years, North Shore Gymnastics Association is conveniently located a few miles west of Long Lake, just off of highway 12 in Maple Plain, MN.

NSGA is proud that:

  • We have been in business for over 40 years, serving communities in the western suburbs.          
  • Our facility has been home to the Orono High School Gymnastics team, the Mound Westonka High School Gymnastics team, professional dancers, and hosted an Olympic skier and Olympic gymnasts.
  • Over 1,500 girls and boys ages 16 months to 18 years old participate in our progressive class program on an annual basis.
  • We are dedicated to developing gymnastics excellence while attempting to instill a strong physical and mental foundation for our boys and girls competitive gymnasts.
  • Many of our team gymnasts have competed at the Regional and National levels and several have qualified for NCAA gymnastics scholarships.

North Shore Gymnastics Association Mission Statement

Our mission as a premiere gymnastics association:
North Shore Gymnastics Association was founded in 1974 as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation governed by an executive board. It is our purpose to acquaint children at all levels of physical ability, potential and growth with the sport of gymnastics in an atmosphere of safe, fun, positive learning and to help each child develop gymnastics skills, good sportsmanship and self-discipline.

North Shore Gymnastics Progressive Program

North Shore Gymnastics Association offers preschool classes for boys and girls ages 18 months to 5 years old and progressive classes for boys and girls ages 5 to 18 years old. Specialty classes in tumbling and combination dance+gymnastics classes are also offered

North Shore Gymnastics Competitive Team Program

North Shore offers an established boys and girls competitive team program. We are dedicated to developing gymnastics excellence while attempting to instill a strong physical and mental foundation for our competitive gymnasts. Many of our gymnasts have competed at the Regional and National levels and several have qualified for NCAA gymnastics scholarships.
